Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in hospitality.
• Strong culinary skills and passion for food quality.
• Experience leading kitchen teams.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of kitchen financial performance.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and compliance requirements.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, proactive and hands-on leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and food service areas.
• Recruit, train, coach and develop kitchen team members.
• Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation and consistency across all services.
• Manage stock control, ordering and supplier relationships.
• Monitor food and labour costs to support financial performance.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, health and safety and company standards.
• Support menu planning, seasonal changes and food innovation.
• Ensure effective kitchen rota planning and resource management.
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
