Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead the Global Commodities Exotics desk technology team.

You will shape end-to-end delivery from execution to reporting, aligning with Trading leadership, Quants and Functional leads to drive the technology roadmap and production readiness. You will build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering ownership, observability, security and a production-first culture to deliver fast, scalable and reliable desk workflows across

Qualifications

Deep software engineering and design experience with production systems.
Experience in Commodities front-office technology and trader workflows.
Proven leadership of multi-team engineering groups delivering end-to-end stacks.

Responsibilities

Own the technology strategy for desk workflow and tooling with roadmaps.
Partner with traders and leaders to identify pain points and deliver value.
Represent the desk tech organization in senior forums and secure commitments.
Oversee end-to-end delivery across the SDLC with production-first focus.
Set engineering standards for architecture, security, testing and CI/CD.
Drive multi-department AI-enabled engineering and governance across delivery workflows.
Sponsor resolution of complex production incidents and systemic issues.
