Alliance Française de Glasgow seeks a visionary Executive Director to lead the organisation. You will drive strategic priorities, governance, and day-to-day management across finance, HR and education while nurturing partnerships with cultural and academic bodies.

The role combines long‑term strategic planning with hands‑on operational delivery, ensuring financial sustainability and programme excellence within a not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience across governance, finance and HR.
• Strong ability to combine strategic leadership with hands-on delivery.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with diverse partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across finance, HR, education, culture and partnerships.
• Oversee financial management, budgeting, payroll and reporting to the Board of Trustees.
• Manage administrative and teaching teams, recruitment and staff development.
• Ensure high standards in language education, examinations (DELF/DALF/TCF) and pedagogy.
• Develop and manage the cultural programme, external communications and partnerships.
