Job summary

NOOC is seeking a full-time Director in Oxford to oversee the Centre’s operations, lead a staff team of eight, and manage housing, finance, and refurbishment. The post requires Christian leadership, mature management skills, and the ability to relate to postgraduates and internationals.

The role offers £55,000–£60,000 per year, 37.5 hours, 10% pension, 24 days’ holiday (rising to 27), and free on-site parking. Applicants must have UK right to work. Closing date 14 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in general management and administration.
• Ability to relate to postgraduates and internationals.
• Experience in property/housing or charity sectors advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a staff team of eight and oversee housing, finance and refurbishment.
• Prepare and attend Board of Trustees meetings and provide leadership.
• Manage on-call arrangements and out-of-hours emergencies; supervise housing operations.
