Saxon Weald is looking for a strategic and inspirational finance leader to join their Executive Team and help shape the future of Saxon Weald.

Job Description
  • Lead and deliver Saxon Weald\'s finance strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and long-term financial sustainability.
  • Provide strategic leadership across Finance and Governance, including Treasury, Financial Planning, Risk and Governance, ensuring high performance and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate across the business as well as with the Executive Team and the Board, delivering high-quality reports and insight that support decision-making and helps drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion value for money and risk management, embedding these principles into departmental plans and performance monitoring, within a strong controls environment.
The Successful Applicant
  • Qualified accountant with senior leadership experience, ideally within social housing or other regulated industries.
  • Proven track record of working at Director level or similar, with experience of contributing to the Executive Teams and engaging effectively with Boards.
  • Strong understanding of financial strategy and risk management, with the ability to provide assurance on compliance and control environments. If you have previously led or worked closely with a governance function, that would be beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal and strategic skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, lead change and foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
