About the Role

A large global biotech near Cambridge is seeking a Global Medical Affairs Head - Respiratory to lead key respiratory/pulmonary assets towards commercialization. The company focuses on innovation and developing key prescription medicines for serious diseases.

Candidate Profile
  • Board-certified respiratory specialist with a passion for improving patient lives in asthma and respiratory conditions.
  • Background in academic clinical research in respiratory diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Global Medical, Respiratory Biologics team.
  • Develop and oversee the Respiratory Biologics Medical Strategy, including lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate across global medical functions and with the Global Product Team (commercial, R&D, regulatory, biostatistics, etc.).
  • Design and execute Phase 3b/4 clinical trials and Real World Evidence studies.
Qualifications
  • MD with strong clinical research experience in Airways Disease.
  • Specialty training in pulmonology or respiratory medicine.
  • Strategic and medical leadership skills.
  • Experience leading large-scale medical initiatives in complex environments.
  • Strong relationships with global respiratory medicine leaders.
