Restaurant Associates invites a skilled Executive Dining Sous Chef to join the Canary Wharf team, working with the Head Chef to deliver refined cuisine and exceptional guest experiences.

The role is hands-on, supporting daily kitchen operations and bespoke events in a close-knit brigade within a dynamic fine dining environment. You will lead, train and motivate staff while ensuring top food quality and cost control.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fine-dining or premium hospitality environments.
• Strong cooking skills across all kitchen sections.
• Ability to train, motivate and lead kitchen staff.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Understanding of food costs, GP and budget impacts.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Plan and deliver weekly events.
• Prepare and present dishes to fine-dining standards.
• Assist with budgeting and cost-management processes.
• Lead and motivate the kitchen team when needed.
