Director - Executive Compensation

Today, with a significant ambition to build on the successes in the UK market, A&M is looking to continue the growth of our Executive Compensation business. This is an exciting and possibly unique opportunity for a Director to join our executive compensation practice. Led by a team of partners and senior practitioners, our practice supports a broad range of companies and their remuneration committees in developing remuneration arrangements and policies that are aligned with their strategies, culture and stakeholders. Our approach and our culture are open, collaborative and meritocratic.

Experience of strategic reward advisory at Board and other executive levels, incentive design, target setting, corporate governance and the investor environment are essential.

As a Director you will:

  1. Manage clients to understand critical areas of importance and apply technical knowledge to specific client situations.
  2. Create high quality deliverables that are concise, complete and address the elements deemed important by the client.
  3. Clearly communicate work plans, project objectives, and timelines to multidisciplinary project teams.
  4. Build relationships with senior client contacts and demonstrate a working knowledge of client businesses; with opportunity to assume additional responsibility quickly.
  5. Provide leadership, develop, mentor, and motivate our team members by actively participating in their advancement through on-the-job training, providing performance feedback, counseling, and fostering our team-based atmosphere.
  6. Manage multiple projects, client engagements and budgets simultaneously and efficiently.
  7. Assist with business development, including add-on work by creating bespoke and innovative business development resources and actively participating in proposal opportunities.
  8. Promote an environment of continuous learning, enabling the team to participate in opportunities to engage in training and assignments.
