Job summary

The Majestic Line (Oban) is seeking chefs for the 2027 season to join our four small cruise ships off the West Coast of Scotland. You will craft dishes celebrating local produce and manage weekly purchasing within budget, while ensuring top quality food and presentation for guests.

You will devise menus, communicate sourcing and preparation details to the crew, and maintain cleanliness and safe galley operations.

Responsibilities

• Creating delicious dishes that celebrate the West Coast of Scotland, using the finest local produce
• Ordering and purchasing of high quality, locally sourced produce for each cruise within a weekly budget
• Preparing and presenting high-quality food which
• Devising menu plans and communicating with the crew and guests around where the food has been sourced and how it has been prepared
• All aspectsof galley and food storage areas, particularly cleanliness and hygiene
• Assist the crew and skipper with daily tasks to ensure an excellent customer experience
• Be a part of our team and create memorable experiences for our guests.
