Job description

Bath Community School District is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to the Superintendent/Business Support Specialist to support district leadership. This is a 12-month calendar position with an annual salary

Position Overview:$38,586.24- $56,334.24.

The Executive Assistant to the Superintendent/Business Support Specialist will provide high-level administrative support to district leadership, ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

(These duties and responsibilities are judged to be "essential functions" in terms of the Americans With Disabilities Act or ADA)

· Manage schedules, appointments, and correspondence for district leadership.

· Prepare reports, presentations, and official documents.

· Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.

· Maintain and organize confidential records and files.

· Act as a liaison between district leadership, staff, and community stakeholders.

· Support the financial department with tasks including, but not limited to, invoice processing, budget tracking, and reporting.

· Organize and file documents to ensure efficient recordkeeping.

· Attend important meetings to represent the district (i.e. monthly board meetings)

· Lead the district’s pupil accounting process, including coordinating data collection across all three schools and compiling reports for the pupil accounting audit process.

· Maintain and organize confidential records and documents, ensuring proper filing and storage.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have an associate’s degree or higher and two to three years related professional experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience.

· Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.

· Microsoft Office Certification is beneficial.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management tools.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to meet important deadlines.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
