Daimler Truck UK Ltd is seeking a highly capable and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director and Senior Executive Team. This is a pivotal role that blends executive support, project management, and internal communications, contributing directly to the smooth operation and strategic direction of the business.

This role provides critical support to the Managing Director and Senior Executive Team of Daimler Truck UK (DTUK) in conceptual and operational matters, making an important contribution to the smooth running of day-to-day business. The role is responsible for project and task management, stakeholder liaison which includes coordinating interfaces with other areas within the business, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication within the organisation. Additionally, it serves as the lead responsible for technology and office management, for Internal Communications for DTUK and related projects, activities, and events, driving DTUK’s mission and contributing to its success.

This is a Full-Time position.

About the role:

Manage executive operations: coordinate agendas, meetings, and follow-ups for the Managing Director:

  • Prepare and coordinate presentations and documentation for executive meetings
  • Attend business meetings, track follow-up actions, and liaise with stakeholders
  • Manage and prioritise the MD’s schedule in collaboration with other PAs
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies

Lead strategic projects: oversee project plans, track deliverables, and liaise with stakeholders across the business.

  • Act as Programme Manager for strategic projects across DTUK
  • Define project goals, manage timelines and resources, and ensure delivery
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive progress
  • Monitor budgets and proactively manage risks
  • Support budget administration and operational planning for the MD office.

Internal communications: drive colleague engagement through town halls, internal updates, and leadership messaging.

  • Lead internal communication initiatives including Town Halls and staff events
  • Keep employees informed of company updates and strategic goals
  • Manage the Daimler Truck UK intranet space
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, HR, and internal teams to foster a positive and engaging workplace culture

About you:

  • Strong commercial acumen, with a considerable amount of experience in providing reliable and accurate support to senior executives in a similar working environment.
  • Outstanding research skills, together with a high level of problem solving, presentation and organisation skills.
  • An exceptional collaborator, communicator, and influencer capable of cultivating productive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Substantial experience in project management, managing conflicting priorities exhibiting excellent time management skills by staying one step ahead.
  • Demonstrate resilience and confidence working in a high-pressure work environment, whilst operating flexibly.
  • Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and discretion in all matters.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability and desire to learn within a dynamic environment.
