Job description

Executive Assistant - Part Time - 12 month assignment, Colchester

This role provides EA support to the Global Head of HR Operations within the GBS environment, requiring independence, initiative, and excellent organizational skills. It is a 12-month maternity cover, part-time (3 days/week), based in Colchester, UK, with confidentiality essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex diaries across multiple time zones using MS Outlook.
  • Handle mailbox correspondence with discretion.
  • Process invoices via SAP & Oracle (training provided).
  • Manage expenses through Barclaycard Spend Management (training provided).
  • Arrange travel, meetings, and internal/external events.
  • Coordinate global conference calls and organize departmental events.
  • Build relationships across the Group and with external stakeholders.
  • Support senior EAs, prepare presentations (PowerPoint), and reports (Word).
  • Perform administrative duties and support the HR Operations team.
  • Conduct control testing for colleague processes.
