Job summary

Damart seeks an experienced Executive Assistant to partner with the UK Managing Director, providing high‑level support and helping coordinate business activities across the Leadership Team and wider Damartex Group.

You will manage complex calendars, prepare executive documents, and maintain internal communications channels, enabling senior leaders to focus on key priorities. A proactive, discreet, and organised professional is essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience as an Executive Assistant or similar supporting senior executives.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive, high-level EA support to the UK Managing Director.
  • Coordinate with Leadership Team, CFO and Damartex Group.
  • Prepare presentations, briefings and executive documentation.
  • Coordinate Leadership Team meetings and major events.
  • Monitor priorities, risks and delivery against plans.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Support UK internal comms calendar with People Team.
  • Draft leadership communications and coordinate town halls.
  • Manage internal channels including Teams and SharePoint.

Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly capable Executive Assistant to become a trusted partner to the UK Managing Director, providing exceptional executive support while playing a key role in business coordination and internal communications. The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director, Leadership Team and wider Damartex Group, ensuring priorities are delivered, actions are followed through and key business activities run smoothly. This role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence, coordinate and support business-wide initiatives from day one.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive, high-level Executive Assistant support to the UK Managing Director, anticipating priorities and requirements before they arise.
  • Act as a key point of coordination between the Managing Director, CFO, Leadership Team, Damartex Group and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations, briefings, meeting packs and executive documentation to support effective decision-making.
  • Coordinate Leadership Team meetings, Board-related activities and major business events, ensuring actions are recorded, tracked and delivered.
  • Monitor key priorities, projects and action plans, proactively highlighting risks, delays and issues requiring intervention.
  • Handle confidential, commercially sensitive and people-related information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Support the development and delivery of the UK internal communications calendar alongside the People Team.
  • Draft leadership communications, coordinate town hall meetings and support colleague engagement activities.
  • Manage internal communication channels including Teams and SharePoint, ensuring colleagues remain informed and engaged.
  • Manage complex diaries, travel arrangements, meetings and forward planning, ensuring the Managing Director's time is focused on key business priorities.
Skills and Experience:
  • Significant experience as an Executive Assistant, Executive Business Partner or similar role supporting senior executive leaders.
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong judgement, initiative and the confidence to work autonomously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience producing professional presentations, reports, briefings and executive-level documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven experience coordinating projects, tracking actions and ensuring delivery against deadlines.
  • Exceptional discretion when handling confidential and commercially sensitive information.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
  • Adaptable, resilient and calm under pressure, with a proactive and positive approach.
