Job summary

Citi is seeking a senior executive to lead AI solutions within the COO Technology organization. The Head of AI Solutions will architect a unified AI strategy and build a world-class engineering team to deliver production-grade AI at scale across the bank's operations.

This role requires 15+ years in technology, deep expertise in generative AI, agentic systems, and enterprise-grade AI delivery, with strong leadership and budget responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in technology
• Deep hands-on expertise in large language models
• Experience with multi-agent architectures and orchestration frameworks
• Experience deploying AI workloads on major cloud platforms
• Strong coding in Python and knowledge of AI frameworks
• Leadership of large engineering teams and budgets ($50M+).

Responsibilities

• Define and own multi-year AI strategy and platform architecture.
• Develop architecture blueprints for Generative AI and agentic workflows.
• Build shared AI platform with reusable models and tooling.
• Establish engineering standards, guardrails, and patterns.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI solutions across regulated environments.
• Manage cross-functional delivery across engineering, product, data, architecture, risk, and operations.
