Job summary

Caval is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support a 4-5 month project in Exeter, focusing on setting out for groundworks, roads and drainage, and coordinating with site management.

You will use surveying equipment, check levels, and work from construction drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications. Immediate start offered, CIS payment.

The role requires strong setting-out experience, CSCS where required, and the ability to work independently as part of a site team.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Engineering experience
• Strong setting-out experience
• Groundworks, drainage and access road experience
• Competent using surveying/setting-out equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site team
• CSCS qualification where required

Responsibilities

• Setting out groundworks, roads and drainage
• Carrying out site measurements and surveys
• Checking levels, lines and dimensions
• Working from construction drawings and specifications
• Liaising with Site Managers and subcontractors
• Ensuring works are completed accurately and to required standards
