Job summary

Bluetownonline-Ltd is recruiting an experienced Excavator / Tractor operator for a varied, hands-on role across Aberdeen and surrounding areas. You will work on surfacing, drainage, kerbing and general groundwork using machines from 2.5 to 22 tonnes, including tiltrotator-equipped gear.

Lorry work available if licensed, or assistance can be provided to obtain a licence. The role offers full-time, permanent employment with flexible hours upon request and a supportive family-run environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating excavators, tiltrotators and tractors (essential).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Strong practical knowledge of groundwork and civil engineering operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive work ethic and can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate a modern fleet of excavators (2.5–22 tonnes) and tiltrotator-equipped machines.
• Carry out surfacing and drainage tasks as part of civil works.
• Perform kerbing, slabbing and general groundwork duties.
• Work across Aberdeen and surrounding areas on commercial/infrastructure sites.
