Job summary

Select Plant Hire is seeking a skilled excavator operator for various UK project locations. You will handle digging, trenching, lifting and loading tasks with 360 and/or 180 excavators.

Responsibilities include pre-start checks, routine inspections and maintaining safe, clean work areas. You will also complete timesheets and liaise with supervisors, with regional and national travel as required.

Qualifications

• Proven excavation experience in construction or civil environments.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS card for excavator category.
• CSCS card where required.

Responsibilities

• Operate 360 and/or 180 excavators to perform digging, trenching, grading, lifting and loading tasks.
• Conduct pre-start checks, inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation.
• Complete daily timesheets and operational records.
