Job summary

BRUSH Group in Scotland is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to support power infrastructure, cable installation and civil projects across the north of Scotland. You will operate a range of plant on live sites and work as part of a field team.

Candidates must hold a CSCS card, CPCS/NPORS competencies and a full UK driving licence, and be willing to travel and stay away when required. Full training on techniques will be provided, with accommodation and subsistence arranged per company

Qualifications

CSCS card, CPCS/NPORS competencies and hold a full UK driving Licence.
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a wider site team.
Experience operating plant on civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure projects would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

Safely operate excavators, dumpers, telehandlers and other relevant machinery, as necessary.
Complete daily plant checks and report defects, damage or maintenance requirements.
Load, unload and safely handle plant, equipment and materials.
Work in line with site RAMS, safety requirements and environmental controls.
Work closely with Construction Managers, Site Managers, supervisors and ground teams to complete works safely and to programme.
Complete plant records, timesheets and routine maintenance checks.
Support general site activities when plant operations are not required.
