Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Able to dig strip foundations.
2. Maintain an excellent eye for finished works, such as topsoil, levelling muck, type 1, crush, and road formation.
3. Capable of lifting and working with trench boxes, manhole boxes, drag boxes, and trench sheets.
4. Able to read and understand levels and drawings.
5. Acknowledge the need for dig permits before breaking ground.
6. Experienced working around live services and implementing service avoidance techniques.
7. Able to carry out daily pre-start plant safety inspections, maintenance checks, and communicate service requirements effectively to the site management team.
8. Able to perform essential greasing, basic maintenance, and keep machines clean and tidy.
9. Must show respect for plant and maintain it to a high standard.
10. Proactive and effective time management skills.
11. Knowledge of GPS machine control is advantageous.
12. Additional CPCS/NPORS tickets and experience operating equipment such as telehandlers, dumpers, and rollers.
13. Reliable and punctual.
14. Able to work well with other trades and operatives to support timely project delivery.
15. Right to work in the UK.
