Job summary

Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking a dedicated Examinations Officer to lead the administration and delivery of all internal and external examinations. The role collaborates with students, staff, parents and awarding bodies to ensure compliant, efficient processes.

Hours: 37 per week, term time only plus 2 weeks. The successful candidate will support safeguarding and DBS checks as part of recruitment, with a strong emphasis on accurate regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
  • Experience in an examinations or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Experience of using SIMS.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and coordinate internal and external examinations.
  • Ensure examinations are delivered efficiently and in line with regulations.
  • Work with students, staff, parents and awarding bodies to manage examinations.

Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly organised Examinations Officer. This is a key role within the academy, responsible for the effective administration and smooth delivery of all internal and external examinations. The successful candidate will work closely with students, staff, parents and awarding bodies to ensure examinations are managed efficiently, accurately and in line with all regulatory requirements.

Potential applicants should have:
  • Grade 4/C or above in GCSE English and Mathematics.
  • Previous experience in an examinations or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience of using SIMS.
  • Strong numeracy, literacy and ICT skills.
