Job summary

Bruntcliffe Academy in Leeds is seeking an Examinations Officer to manage the administration and delivery of internal and external examinations. You will work with students, staff, parents and awarding bodies to ensure examinations are organised accurately and in line with regulatory requirements.

The role requires GCSE English and Maths (4/C or above), experience in examinations or an administrative role, and strong numeracy and ICT skills. Experience with SIMS and MS Office is preferred.

  • Experience in examinations or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience using SIMS is desirable.
  • Strong numeracy, literacy and ICT skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the administration and delivery of internal and external examinations.
  • Coordinate with students, staff, parents and awarding bodies to ensure examinations run efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and regulatory compliance for examinations.

Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly organised Examinations Officer. This is a key role within the academy, responsible for the effective administration and smooth delivery of all internal and external examinations. The successful candidate will work closely with students, staff, parents and awarding bodies to ensure examinations are managed efficiently, accurately and in line with all regulatory requirements.

Potential applicants should have:
  • Grade 4/C or above in GCSE English and Mathematics.
  • Previous experience in an examinations or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience of using SIMS.
  • Strong numeracy, literacy and ICT skills.
