South Thames College is seeking a bank of variable hours Examination Invigilators to work across their Wandsworth and Tooting sites to manage the Group’s external examinations, in particular at the key points of November, January and mid-May to end of June.
Ensuring the examination venues are arranged in accordance with awarding body regulations, you’ll collect exam materials from the exams office punctually, prior to the start of examinations and manage the entry of candidates into exam venues ensuring their belongings and unauthorised items are appropriately stored. You’ll open and distribute question papers, complete the attendance register whilst identifying students, complete Examinations’ Diary as appropriate and maintain vigilance during the length of the whole examination.
With previous experience in examination administration, you’ll be reliable and punctual with the ability to control an examination venue containing up to 400 candidates. With excellent communication skills, you’ll be a meticulous and detail orientated individual, able to work under pressure and be a team player.
