Job summary

Hope Valley College invites applications for Exam Invigilators to work with the existing team in running all internal and public examinations at the school.

The post is well suited to applicants with experience of working with young people, who can be a positive role model, and who can commit to flexible daytime hours during exam periods. Full training will be provided and working hours allocated for each exam period.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people.
• Ability to be a positive role model for students.
• Flexibility to work daytime hours during exam periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth running of examinations in school.
• Supervise candidates, manage conduct and timing per board regulations.
• Distribute and collect papers and materials at start and end of exams.
• Maintain a tidy exam room and report any incidents as required.
• Support the Examinations Officer with routine tasks during exam periods.
