Job summary

Hope Valley College is recruiting Exam Invigilators to support the delivery of internal and public examinations throughout the academic year. Flexible, term-time work with daytime shifts during exam periods; full training is provided and hours allocated to examination schedules.

Applicants should have excellent attention to detail and the ability to stay calm and professional. Experience with young people is desirable but not essential, and all appointments require safeguarding checks.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a flexible approach to work.
• Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervising students during examinations in line with exam board regulations.
• Assisting with the setup of examination rooms and distribution/collection of exam materials.
• Ensuring exams are conducted fairly, securely and efficiently.
• Supporting students with queries and providing additional materials when required.
• Maintaining a calm, quiet and professional examination environment.
• Reporting any examination irregularities in accordance with school procedures.
