Job summary

Fakenham Academy is seeking Exam Invigilators to support the Exams Officer and ensure the smooth conduct of public examinations in line with JCQ regulations. This role is part-time, term-time only, and on a bank/adhoc basis, with flexible scheduling.

Invigilators must be available for main exams (May/June) and mocks; training is scheduled for 4 January 2027. Closing date is 5 October 2026 (12 noon) with interviews on 12 October 2026.

  • Exam invigilators must be reliable, punctual and able to work discreetly during examinations.

THE ROLE

Fakenham Academy is looking to recruit Exam Invigilators to provide support to the Exams Officer andbe responsible forthe efficient conduct of public examinationsin accordance withthe regulations of the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ).

Exam Invigilatorsare required towork on a flexible basis, at mutually agreed times. There is no guarantee of regular work or a guaranteed minimum of hours per year. Exam Invigilatorsare required towork at various times during the year for both public examination and mocks and are expected to be available for main exams(May and June). Our mocks are scheduled in February,Apriland November. Successful applicants should be able to offer a minimum of 3 days during the exams.

Invigilator training is scheduled to take place onTuesday4January 2027, so you will need to be availableto attendthis trainingif your application was successful.
