Job summary

Furze Platt Senior School is seeking reliable Exam Invigilators to join their casual pool for supervising students during pre-public exams and GCSE/A Level examinations across the school year. Successful candidates will be available for regular May and June exam seasons and for ad hoc sessions during the year.

Full training will be provided and invigilators will be contacted in advance to discuss schedules in relation to their availability.

Qualifications

• Available to work regularly during the official exam season during May and June and on an ad hoc basis to cover pre-public exams which take place at various times during the academic year.
• Able to work under pressure, keep calm and be empathetic to candidates while complying with regulations.
• Well organised with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team or independently as required.

Job description

Furze Platt Senior School is looking to add to their bank of dedicated Exam Invigilators, who will be employed on a casual basis to supervise students taking both pre-public exams and actual GCSE/A Level exams, as necessary throughout the school year.

About You

We are looking for individuals who are:

• available to work regularly during the official exam season during May and June and on an ad hoc basis to cover pre-public exams which take place at various times during the academic year
• able to work under pressure, remain calm and be empathetic to candidate’s needs whilst remaining compliant with regulations
• well organised, and have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Are reliable, punctual with the ability to work as part of a team or independently as required
