Job summary

Holmer Green Senior School in High Wycombe is seeking part-time Exam Invigilators to oversee students during examinations on an as-needed basis.

Full training will be provided; no formal qualifications or prior experience are required. You'll ensure exam rooms are prepared, admit candidates on time, safeguard question papers and materials, apply rules consistently and respond to emergencies under the Examinations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee students during examination sessions under the direction of the Examinations Manager.
• Ensure safe custody of question papers and examination materials at all times.
• Prepare examination rooms and admit candidates at scheduled times.
• Ensure rules and regulations relating to examinations are applied and followed.
• Deal with emergencies that may arise during examinations.
• Respond to duties assigned by the Senior Management Team.

Job description

Holmer Green Senior School are looking to recruit Exam Invigilators as soon as possible to work, when required, on a part-time basis and be responsible for overseeing students undertaking the examination process. Full training will be provided. No formal qualifications or experience required.

Successful candidates will:

• Be committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all students and to follow school policy and procedures in this regard
• Under the direction of Examinations Manager, take responsibility for the conduct of a particular examination session in the presence of candidates.
• Ensure, at all times, the safe custody of question papers and other examination materials.
• Ensure that examination rooms are adequately prepared for examination purposes, and ready to admit candidates at a scheduled time.
• Ensure that all rules and regulations relating to the conduct of examinations are strictly applied and followed.
• Deal with any emergencies that may arise during the examination
• Respond to any associated duties that may be assigned by the Senior Management Team.
