Job summary

Stowe School Limited is seeking Casual Exams Invigilators to support exam sessions starting February 2027. You will be responsible for upholding JCQ regulations and ensuring exams run smoothly, with duties split across morning and afternoon sessions.

The role requires flexibility during exam periods, and invigilators typically report for duty at 08:15 for morning sessions and 13:00 for afternoon sessions. A safeguarding background check will be conducted in line with policy.

Qualifications

• Experience as an invigilator is preferred.
• Familiarity with JCQ regulations and exam procedures.

• Be available for morning and/or afternoon sessions during exam periods.
• Report to the Head of Academic Administration and Exams and work as part of a team.

Job description

Hours of work: Various sessions available, morning exam sessions start from 8:15am and afternoon exam sessions from 1pm.

Salary: Session rate £45 (3.5 hour sessions)

Anticipated start date: From February 2027

Casual Exams Invigilators required from February 2027 onwards.

We require Exam Invigilators to join our existing team. Reporting to the Head of Academic Administration and Exams, you will work within a team in ensuring the JCQ regulations are followed and exams run smoothly. The ideal candidate should be willing to work flexibly as required during exam periods.

Exam sessions run: February, May and June but there may be periods outside of these times.

Invigilators usually report for duty at 08.15 for a morning exam session and 13.00 for an afternoon exam session
