Job summary

The Ripley Academy, part of East Midlands Education Trust, is recruiting exam invigilators on a casual basis to support students during exams. Prior experience in a school environment and familiarity with exam board regulations are advantageous, though training will be provided.

You must be available for the start date and able to obtain an enhanced DBS check and UK work eligibility. Roles are paid hourly and start as soon as possible, with two graded scales for invigilators and lead

NJC Scale 1 point 3: Assistant Invigilator (£13.28/hour)

NJC Scale 2 point 4: Lead Invigilator (£13.49/hour)

This role will be paid on an hourly basis

The Ripley Academy is a popular school located in mid Derbyshire close to Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield and within easy reach of the Peak District. We are part of the East Midlands Education Trust and work in close partnership with other schools in the Trust.

We are looking to appoint well organised Exam Invigilators on a casual basis to support our students in achieving their full potential during exams. Experience of working in a school environment and knowledge of exam board regulations would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.

• Has the ability, commitment and drive to provide efficient exams support

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
