Exam Invigilator

Location: Scunthorpe

Earn up to £500 per week, depending on the number of shifts worked and shift duration

About The Role

Connex Education is partnering with a secondary academy in the DN16 region to recruit part-time Exam Invigilators throughout the exam season.

This part-time role typically involves working 3 to 4 hours per shift, depending on the exam schedule, with potential for increased hours if desired. The position is seasonal, aligned with exam periods.

Having a DBS check on the update service, along with a child workforce check, would be a significant advantage.

Assignment Details

• Actual exams: May to July
• Mocks: September to May

Between exam seasons, we can offer additional roles such as teaching assistant or cover supervisor to help maintain your income.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working with young people in a school or similar environment (e.g., NCS, sports coaching)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to undertake professional training
• Ability to work under pressure and think quickly
• Ambitious, enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and good sense of humor
• Ability to commute to Scunthorpe and surrounding areas
