About The Role

Connex Education is working in partnership with a secondary academy in the DN16 region, seeking part-time support from Exam Invigilators throughout the exam season.

The role is part-time, typically requiring 3 to 4 hours per shift, depending on the exam schedule. This may increase if desired. The position is seasonal, aligned with exam periods.

Having a DBS on the update service with a child workforce check would be a significant advantage.

Assignment Details

Actual exams – May to July

Mocks – September to May

Between exam seasons, opportunities include teaching assistant and cover supervisor roles to maintain income.

Requirements for the Exam Invigilator role

• Experience working with young people in a school or similar environment (e.g., NCS, sports coaching)
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Willingness to undergo ongoing professional training
• Ability to work under pressure and 'think on your feet'
• Ambitious, enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and good sense of humor
• Ability to commute to Scunthorpe and surrounding areas
