The Swan School, part of the River Learning Trust, is seeking reliable Exam Invigilators to support the May and June exam period. This casual role requires no previous experience; full training will be provided, and invigilators are needed for flexible hours during main exams and occasional internal assessments.
Ideal candidates will be calm, organised and capable of clear verbal and written communication, providing a confident, reassuring presence in exam rooms.
We are looking for reliable people to join our growing team of Exam Invigilators. You will play a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the examination process. This is a flexible role and you will be required to work during the main exam period in May and June as well as some days during internal assessments throughout the academic year on a casual basis. No previous experience is necessary, as training will be provided. Ideal candidates will be reliable, have a calm and organised attitude, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be a confident and a reassuring presence to candidates in exam rooms. Flexible hours; by negotiation and agreement during the summer exams period in May and June, typical full days are 8.00am-5.00pm and half days 8.00am-12.30pm. As well as some weeks in November and February. We expect invigilators to be available for a minimum of 2 days per week during this period. Typical full working days during the exams period are 8.00am-5pm and half days 8.00am-12.30pm or 12.30pm-5pm.
The Swan School, part of the River Learning Trust, is Oxford’s first new secondary school for over 50 years, and opened in September 2019. When full, we will have approximately 1,200 students on roll, of whom around 300 will be in the Sixth Form.
