Job description

Kent Range 3 (£12.09 per hour, plus holiday pay)

We are looking to recruit candidates to join our Exam Invigilation team at this successful high school. We are a friendly, dynamic, and innovative school known for high-quality education, high expectations, and aspirations.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Invigilate a wide range of exams, adhering to exam board regulations and school procedures.
2. Collect, distribute, and collate exam papers.
3. Brief candidates with necessary information, make announcements, and read notices.
4. Remain alert throughout exams to detect malpractice and respond to candidate issues.
5. Use IT systems confidently for computer-based exams and operate CD players for MFL listening exams, with technical support provided.
6. Act as prompters, readers, or scribes for candidates requiring support.

The summer exam season runs from May to June, including Mock Exams Weeks and other assessments throughout the year. Flexibility with exam end times may be required due to adjustments for students with extra time.
