Job Title: Exam Invigilator

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Salary: £11.50 - £13.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: May 2025 (with ongoing opportunities throughout the academic year)

We are seeking reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Exam Invigilators to support examination processes at a secondary school in Bolton. This role is crucial in ensuring exams are conducted in accordance with national regulations and school policies.

This is a casual, part-time position, ideal for individuals seeking flexible work during exam periods (primarily May and June, with additional sessions in autumn and spring).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Setting up examination rooms following exam board regulations
  2. Ensuring candidates comply with exam conditions
  3. Supervising students during exams to prevent malpractice
  4. Collecting and securely handling exam papers and materials
  5. Supporting students in a calm and professional manner
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  1. Be punctual, responsible, and attentive to detail
  2. Follow instructions and school procedures accurately
  3. Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
  4. Have a calm and reassuring demeanor
  5. Previous experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
