Job summary

Lavington School is seeking to expand its team of Exam Invigilators. You will support the Exams Officer with preparation of examination venues and oversee candidates to ensure fair, secure examinations.

The role includes supervising students, distributing papers, and assisting readers or scribes where required. The position requires excellent organisational skills, reliability, and the ability to stay focused during extended examination periods.

Lavington Schoolisseekingto expand its team of positive and enthusiastic Exam Invigilators. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in ensuring examinations are conducted fairly and securely. You will support the Exams Officer with the preparation of examination venues, including setting up candidate materials, specialist equipment, and access arrangements where required. During examinations, you will supervise students in a calm, professional, and unobtrusive manner, helping to maintain an appropriate environment for all candidates. You will assist with the distribution and collection of examination papers, monitor timings, respond to candidate queries in line with regulations, and report any concerns or incidents promptly. The role also involves supporting students who may require additional assistance, including acting as a reader or scribe following appropriate training. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to remain focused during extended examination periods.
