Job summary

Sandwell College is seeking an Exam Invigilator to support the smooth delivery of examinations across the Cadbury College campus. You will supervise sessions in line with JCQ regulations, protect exam security, admit and seat candidates, and ensure accurate attendance records while maintaining a calm, professional environment.

This zero-hours role offers flexible scheduling, full training, and the chance to contribute to a positive exam experience for all students in a busy college setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in an educational or administrative environment.
• Level 3 qualification or above.
• GCSE English and Maths (A*-C / 4-9).

Responsibilities

• Supervise examinations in line with JCQ regulations.
• Ensure the security of examination papers and materials before, during, and after exams.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure correct seating and documentation.
• Admit, identify, and seat candidates.
• Distribute and collect examination papers and scripts.
• Supervise candidates throughout exams and minimise disruption.
• Respond appropriately to queries, incidents, or irregularities.
• Accurately complete attendance registers and reports.
• Return exam materials securely to the Exams Office.

We’re looking to recruit reliable and professional Exams Invigilators to support the smooth delivery of examinations across the College.

As an Exams Invigilator, you’ll supervise sessions to ensure they run fairly and smoothly, guaranteeing every candidate has a positive experience while maintaining strict confidentiality and exam security.

Full training will be provided.
