Job summary

Exeter College is seeking an experienced leader to head the exam access arrangements team. You will supervise Assessors, screen and assess students for access needs, and ensure JCQ regulations are implemented across the Exeter & North Devon Group.

You’ll train staff, manage referrals, and support teaching colleagues with exam arrangements while also helping with open events and invigilation. The role is Exeter-based with generous holidays and a strong pension scheme, plus a £2,000 retention

Qualifications

Level 7 Assessor Award is essential.
Proactive, organised and methodical approach.
Passionate about supporting students.
Experience assessing exam access arrangements.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Assessors who determine exam access arrangements.
Screen and assess students for exam access needs with schools/parents as needed.
Keep up to date with JCQ regulations and implement changes.
Manage referrals and support teaching staff with exam arrangements.
Deliver training and share expertise with staff across the college.
Support college life with invigilation, events, and campus presence.
