Activate Learning is seeking a proactive Examinations Officer to coordinate all aspects of the examinations process across Guildford and Merrist Wood campuses, ensuring JCQ compliance and smooth delivery of exam sessions.
You will recruit, train and coordinate invigilators, manage entries, assessments and results, and work with the faculty, learning support and data team to maintain accurate records. This is a permanent, full-time role with 37 hours per week, term-time only (0.88 FTE).
Examinations OfficerActivate Learning is looking for a proactive and highly organised Examinations Officer to join our team in Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting student outcomes by managing all aspects of the examinations process.As an Examinations Officer, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and delivering exam sessions in line with JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) regulations. You’ll work closely with various internal teams-including faculty staff, learning support, and the data team-to ensure examinations run smoothly and efficiently across the group.In addition, you will support in the recruitment, training, and coordination of invigilators to ensure exams are conducted professionally and fairly.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 37 hours per week on a term-time only basis (0.88 FTE). The role is based across our Guildford and Merrist Wood campuses, with occasional travel to Farnham College as required.
Interviews will take place at Guildford College on 9th & 10th September.
