Job summary

CH&CO, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). The role focuses on delivering exceptional food experiences, smooth kitchen and counter operations, and outstanding customer service across conferences, meetings and events.

You will lead catering teams, act as the main client contact on event days, and ensure spaces and service are executed to specification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Holder of a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated, keen to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Supervise catering teams during conferences, meetings, exhibitions, dinners and special events.
• Act as primary point of contact for event clients on the day of their event, providing a professional and welcoming experience from arrival through event completion.
• Ensure all event spaces are set up according to event specifications, function sheets and client requirements.
• Coordinate food and beverage service to ensure timely and professional delivery. Conduct pre-event briefings with team members.

We're recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, and who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for CH&CO on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.

As a Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and helping to deliver truly incredible food experiences.
