Job summary

CH&CO, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor for term-time only, 35 hours per week, with Mon-Fri day shifts. You will oversee kitchens and service counters, ensuring exceptional food and customer service, while progressing your catering career within a supportive, values-driven environment.

Applicants should have at least two years of catering experience, proven team management, and a valid Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to maintain impeccable food and service.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and culinary/service teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and coach teams to enable excellence in their roles.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across catering and service teams.

We're recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, and who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for CH&CO, contracted to 35 hours per week - term time only

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards
• Supervising our culinary and catering teams to ensure we continue to deliver impeccable food and customer service
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure we continue to exceed expectations
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their role
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
