Job summary

Chartwells Schools is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee CH&CO catering and service operations on a full-time basis (37.5 hours/week). You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly and help deliver exceptional food experiences, with opportunities for progression within a company that values its people.

The role emphasizes training teams, maintaining health & safety standards, and representing the brand to customers while striving for outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing CH&CO / Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and kitchen/service teams to exceed expectations.
• Training and supporting teams, leading from the front to enable excellence.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.

Job description

We're recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, and who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for CH&CO on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

As a Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and helping to deliver truly incredible food experiences.
