Job description

Love people? Love your local community? Love making things happen?

This is not your typical coordination role.

We’re looking for a Community Coordinator to become a real part of the Chiswick community — building relationships, creating connections, bringing people through the door and helping turn a brilliant local presence into an even bigger network of clients and opportunities.

You’ll be the person who knows what’s happening, who knows who’s who, and who makes sure things actually get done. And no two days will look the same.

So, what will you actually be doing?

A bit of everything — and that’s exactly what makes this role so exciting.

Build relationships in the community

Get out there and discover the people, organisations and groups that make Chiswick tick. From schools and sports clubs to local organisations and community groups, you’ll identify opportunities to build meaningful partnerships and create new connections.

Make events happen

You’ll play a key role in bringing people through the door. You’ll work alongside the Manager to come up with ideas, organise events, manage all the details and be there on the day to make sure everything runs smoothly. Think community events, networking, local sponsorships and events.

Keep the relationships going

The event doesn't end when everyone goes home. You’ll help nurture those new relationships, stay connected with the community and turn introductions into long-term relationships.

Be the heartbeat

You’ll help make sure the Chiswick Office is always welcoming, professional and ready for clients. From making sure the coffee is flowing and the dog treats are stocked, to coordinating adviser attendance and keeping everything running smoothly.

Keep things organised behind the scenes

There’s an important operational side too. You’ll maintain accurate client information, support account opening, provide reports to other areas of the business and liaise regularly with teams across the wider organisation.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a people person.

Someone outgoing, naturally warm and confident speaking to all kinds of people. Someone who can walk into a room, strike up a conversation and make people feel completely at ease.

You’ll be:

  • Proactive — you see something that needs doing and get on with it.
  • Personable — you genuinely enjoy meeting and connecting with people.
  • Organised — you can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
  • A great communicator — you know how to adapt your approach to different people and situations.
  • Commercially aware — you can spot an opportunity and understand how relationships can translate into long-term business.
  • Emotionally intelligent — you understand how to communicate with different audiences, including high-net-worth clients.
  • A natural problem solver — you can think on your feet and don't need everything mapped out for you.
  • Reliable and professional — people know they can count on you.

We’re looking for a chameleon, someone who can comfortably move between welcoming a client, organising a community event, speaking to a local organisation, supporting the team and then jumping into the detail behind the scenes.

Previous experience in customer service, client-facing roles, events, professional services or another regulated environment would be highly advantageous. Experience within financial services is a bonus, but isn't essential if you’re commercially minded and able to pick things up quickly.

Knowing Chiswick and the local community would be a real advantage. If you’re energetic, organised, naturally great with people and want a role where you can build relationships, get involved in your community and genuinely make things happen, we’d love to hear from you.
