Platinum Recruitment Consultancy Ltd in Pembrokeshire is seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead weddings, private dining, and exclusive functions for a prestigious luxury hotel. You will coordinate client requirements, timelines, and supplier liaising to deliver personalised experiences.

Ideal candidates bring high-end hotel experience, exceptional organisation and communication skills, and a flexible, hands-on approach to ensure flawless events in a rural setting.

Competenze

• Previous experience as an Events Manager or in a comparable senior role.
• Proven experience in a high-end 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
• Demonstrable wedding management experience is essential.
• Excellent organisation, communication and client-facing skills.
• A hands-on approach, keen eye for detail and confidence under pressure.
• Flexibility for evening and weekend work when required.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport, due to the rural location.
• The right to work in the UK.

• Take ownership of the planning and operational delivery of weddings, private dining, celebrations and exclusive functions, ensuring every occasion runs seamlessly.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, coordinating requirements, final arrangements, timings and individual preferences.
• Conduct client meetings, venue showrounds and detailed planning discussions to create personalised experiences.
• Prepare and communicate detailed function sheets, running orders, seating plans and operational requirements to relevant departments.
• Coordinate with kitchen, food and beverage, housekeeping and front-of-house teams to ensure all arrangements are delivered as agreed.
• Oversee room setups, guest arrivals, service timings and the smooth running of each function, maintaining exceptional standards.
• Liaise with external suppliers, including florists, entertainment providers and other contractors, to ensure everything comes together on the day.
• Lead and brief operational teams, confidently resolving last-minute changes and guest requests while maintaining a calm, professional approach.

Key Responsibilities
