De Vere Wokefield Estate in Reading is seeking an Events Manager to lead the Meetings & Events Service team and ensure flawless delivery of weddings and events. You will manage operations, set up spaces per client requirements, and report to the Meetings & Events Operations Manager.
You will also handle rotas, recruitment activities, and training while supporting other outlets as needed, with weekend shifts on a rota basis.

As an Events Manager you'll lead our Meetings & Events Service team operationally ensuring every detail is considered and event spaces are set up according to client requirements. This role has responsibility for the operational service delivery of weddings and special events at the venue and reports in to the Meetings & Events Operations Manager.
As a member of the Management Team you will build valued relationships with your team and support with rotas, recruitment activities and completing departmental training, whilst providing support to our other Food & Beverage outlets as required.
This role involves working a variety of shifts and days including weekends on a rota basis.
