Job summary

The Connaught is seeking a talented Groups and Events Executive to join the Connaught Events team for a full-time role at this 5-Star Deluxe hotel. You will manage groups and events, contribute to sales strategies, and maintain strong client relationships to maximise profitability.

Responsibilities include tele-sales, developing business sources and ensuring accurate information flow and filing. This is a 40-hour per week position and offers a comprehensive benefits package within Maybourne.

Responsibilities

• Have an in depth knowledge of food and beverage and discuss items with clients over the telephone.
• Handle clients and prospective clients to maximise sales and profitability across events, groups and related areas.
• Identify potential sources of business through competitor hotel research and following up referred sales leads.
• Remain aware of team whereabouts when in the office.
• Ensure bookings and cancellations are monitored to maximise conversion.
• Conduct telesales activity with identified business sources, assess potential and arrange sales appointments.
• Ensure enquiries are sent the relevant information and filed for easy retrieval.
