About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised, dynamic and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join our team. This person will oversee the planning, logistics, and execution of both UK-based and international events and technology conferences. The successful candidate will provide operational and administrative support to the Events team, ensuring the seamless delivery of events. You’ll play a key role in managing logistics, supporting our sales team with event attendance and speaking opportunities, liaising with external partners, and ensuring an exceptional attendee experience. What you’ll be doing

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the event logistics, content and timings run smoothly
  • Identify and liaise with event vendors, venues, suppliers, and service providers to secure event resources and services
  • Develop and track event project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Work with the events team to determine events strategy and planning for the year
  • Support internal teams with event preparation while ensuring brand messaging consistency
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation for events staff, speakers and attendees as necessary
  • Anticipate potential issues and proactively address any challenges that may arise before, during, or after events

Skills We Need for This Role

  • Proven event planning experience, with at least 1+ year events coordination experience
  • Previous experience in tech events or conferences, ideally cybersecurity would be highly advantageous
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiples events simultaneously
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing start-up and take on a wide range of tasks
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Experience coordinating both virtual and in-person events
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team but manage own workload and priorities as required
  • Experience working with a project management tool such as Asana would be advantageous
