Join our Events team, involved in recruiting new blood donors at various events, including shopping centres and workplaces. The role involves working on a flexible, as-needed basis, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, with prior notice and mutual agreement.
No medical background is required; experience in customer service, including voluntary work, is sufficient. You will set up and run “What’s Your Blood Type?” events, performing blood typing tests with training provided.
It’s preferable to live within about 15 miles of the event locations, as travel may be required at short notice. Some weekend availability is needed, but it’s not every weekend. Extra pay is offered for weekend shifts, and travel costs are covered according to policy.
You will work with the marketing team to register and book appointments for new blood donors at events. Your responsibilities include:
