PKF Smith Cooper Limited is seeking an Events and Marketing Assistant in Nottingham with travel to other offices. The role blends events delivery with practical marketing duties, including content creation, merchandise design and CRM management.
You’ll support and sometimes supervise on‑the‑day events, manage attendance targets, and help improve outcomes through post‑event analysis and content sharing. Hybrid working and active team involvement are part of the role.
Location: Nottingham with travel to our other offices
Contract: Full-time (37.5 hours)
Salary: Dependent on experience
We're looking for an Events and Marketing Assistant to join our highly regarded marketing team. This is a varied role where you'll develop skills across both events and marketing while gaining hands‑on experience in a supportive team. Working closely with our Events and Marketing Assistant Manager, you’ll help deliver a wide range of events, from technical seminars and webinars to unique networking events for our professional community, including cinema showings, sports activities and chicken wing eating competitions!
Day-to-day, the role will involve marketing activities across a range of platforms, channels and systems. The individual will also be responsible for carrying out a diverse range of tasks necessary to organise and deliver a range of internal and external events.
You will also help publicise and promote these events, ensuring attendance targets are achieved, stakeholder objectives are met, and valuable feedback is gathered afterwards to support continuous improvement.
While event organisation and marketing are at the heart of the role, in this varied position you will also be involved in wider marketing activities, including content creation, merchandise design and CRM management.
From the get‑go, you will be an instrumental part of our marketing team and will have exposure to Partners within PKF Smith Cooper and the wider team. As such, we are looking for an individual who is a clear and confident communicator with meticulous attention to detail.
You must be able to manage and plan your own workload and, as a large percentage of your time will be spent organising multiple events simultaneously, excellent organisational skills and the ability to keep calm under pressure are essential.
