Job summary

Foot Anstey is seeking a Senior Events Executive to manage an established programme of internal and external events on a maternity cover. Based in Bristol with hybrid working, you’ll collaborate with Client Development and the wider team to deliver high-quality events that strengthen client relationships and support the firm’s growth.

You will coordinate planning, promotion, on-the-day delivery and post-event reporting while handling budgets and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering corporate/professional B2B events.
  • Commercial understanding of how events support client relationships and business development.
  • High organisational skills with ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
  • Experience promoting events through communications and campaigns.
  • Proactive, independent team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with various stakeholders.
  • Experience using event platforms, CRM, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with sports events or sponsorship activations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Event Management: Coordinate and deliver a programme of internal and external events, both in-person and virtual, ensuring a high-quality experience for attendees.
  • Stakeholder Support: Work closely with partners, lawyers and colleagues across the business to plan and deliver events that meet agreed objectives.
  • Event Marketing: Support the promotion of events through invitations, attendee communications, website content and targeted campaigns to drive attendance and engagement.
  • Project Coordination: Manage multiple events at different stages, ensuring activity is delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
  • Event Delivery: Coordinate all event logistics, including venues, suppliers, registrations, event platforms and on-the-day support.
  • External Events & Sponsorships: Help manage the firm’s participation in external events, sponsorships and speaking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Business Development, Strategic Communications and Client teams to deliver a consistent and professional client experience.
  • Reporting & Insights: Track attendance and event outcomes, providing reports and recommendations to support future planning and continuous improvement.
  • Supplier & Budget Management: Support the management of event budgets and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and successful delivery.

________________________________________What you’ll doWe’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic events professional to take ownership of our established programme of internal and external events during a maternity cover period.Working closely with colleagues across Client Development and the wider business, you’ll help deliver a varied calendar of in-person and virtual events that strengthen client relationships, raise our profile and support business growth. From planning and promotion through to on-the-day delivery and post-event reporting, you’ll play a key role in creating engaging, high-quality experiences for our clients, contacts and colleagues.   • Data & insights: Comfortable using event data and feedback to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Sports & sponsorships (desirable): Experience supporting sports events, sponsorship activations or hospitality programmes would be beneficial.
