This is an opportunity to play a central role in delivering TI-UK’s programme of member and public-facing events, spanning in-person, hybrid and online formats. You will work closely with colleagues across our Business Integrity, Global Health, Defence & Security and Membership teams to plan, promote and deliver events for a range of audiences.

You will also support the delivery of communications for TI-UK’s Business Integrity corporate membership, producing a monthly newsletter and digital content to demonstrate the value of our work to corporate audiences.

This is a blended working role, combining remote working with attendance at our London office, meetings and events as required. Some UK travel and occasional evening events may be required.

The Events and Communications Officer will report to the Senior Communications and Media Manager.

What will I be doing?
Event coordination and planning
  • Coordinate the delivery of our Business Integrity corporate membership events programme (in-person, hybrid and online), including developing agendas, managing timelines, identifying and securing expert speakers’ participation and overseeing event logistics and communications.
  • Support the delivery of webinars for our Global Health and Defence & Security programmes, coordinating speakers, schedules, delegate communications, promotion and technical delivery.
  • Support events for individual TI-UK members, working with colleagues on logistics, communications and attendee management.
  • Gather participant feedback, monitor engagement metrics and help evaluate events to identify opportunities to improve future delivery.
  • Liaise with external suppliers such as designers, videographers and event venues where required.
  • Maintain event and communications records, including budgets, invoices, evaluation data and performance metrics.
Event and Business Integrity communications
  • Maintain corporate member contact lists and event audience segmentation in Mailchimp.
  • Create, produce and distribute event marketing communications through Mailchimp, including event invitations, reminder emails and post-event follow-up communications.
  • Produce and distribute a monthly newsletter for Business Integrity corporate members, highlighting upcoming events, publications and other relevant updates.
  • Monitor newsletter, digital and event engagement data, providing insights and recommendations to improve future communications.
  • Draft, create and publish compelling web content for event pages, as well as updating Business Integrity membership content on the TI-UK website.
  • Create engaging LinkedIn and other digital content to promote events and share highlights afterwards.
  • Work with colleagues to repurpose event content, including key insights and video clips, to increase engagement with corporate audiences.
Who we are looking for?
  • Experience coordinating professional events, including webinars and in-person or hybrid events.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with experience producing newsletters, event communications and digital content.
  • Experience using social media, particularly LinkedIn, to promote events and engage professional audiences.
  • Experience using webinar platforms to manage speakers, attendees and the technical aspects of live online events.
  • Experience using email marketing platforms to produce newsletters, invitations and audience communications.
  • Experience using event management software to manage registrations, communications and attendee information.
  • Experience updating website content using a content management system.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-management skills, including confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and external speakers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage event logistics effectively.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across different teams.
  • An up-to-date understanding of trends and best practice in digital communications.

It would also be useful if you have experience using design software such as Canva to produce digital and event marketing materials, and basic video-editing skills for social media or webinar content.
